The 40 mesh SKU has a 0.385 mm aperture, retaining particles above roughly 385 microns; the 80 mesh SKU has a 0.198 mm aperture for particles above about 198 microns. Finer counts up to 200 mesh are woven to order for precision filtration, so send your target micron rating for a matched brass woven wire mesh specification.

Will brass mesh tarnish, and can the golden finish be preserved?
